POKOTABI / PLACES WORTH A DETOUR
きしだ
Try gatsu sashimi with miso sauce or sesame oil, macaroni salad with curry powder, and salt-grilled skewers of tongue, kashira and heart at Kishida.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Miso sauce or sesame oil with your gatsu sashimi? At Kishida, that small choice can be the start of a leisurely round of snacks. One visitor enjoyed the dish’s springy texture. The macaroni salad can also be dusted with curry powder, adding a change of flavour as you work your way through the plate.
The skewers range from salt-grilled tongue and kashira to liver, skirt and salt-grilled heart. One visitor praised the tender tongue and the savoury meatiness of the kashira, and said the heart made a particular impression. Add skewers as you go with a chūhai, or take a cue from a diner who was especially taken with the lemon sour.
A customer who took grilled skewers home reported that the chicken breast was still moist after some time had passed. Takeaway offers a different way to enjoy the skewers from an evening spent snacking in the restaurant.
